The Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic is a massive event and is supported with many peripheral activities and releases.
As usual the Flying Horse Bar and Brewery produced another limited run of their renowned “Classic Ale” – this year with a label depicting the 2017 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Winner James McFadden.
The Flying Horse is so named as the Bar and microbrewery sits on the former site of a Mobil petrol station – the branding logo in those days for Mobil was Pegasus the Red Flying Horse.
The owners of the establishment (opened in 2008) liked the name “Flying Horse” and stuck with it to draw a link to the site’s past.
The Flying Horse bar and Brewery car park also plays host to the Fan Appreciation day and the Bistro plays host to the Classic Breakfast were the public get a nice brekkie and chance to chat with Drivers.
The 2018 Classic Ale is a nice drop, especially when served off ice and straight from the stubby.
