Peter Roebuck attended Perth Motorplex Practice last night ahead of this Saturday’s KOW (King of Wings) Blue Ribbon Event and witnessed some awesome action.

Teams in attendance were frantically tuning engine and chassis set-ups, determining what tyres and pressures to use, what wheel offset gave the best result on the Kwinana Clay and what wing angles worked the best to get that tiny fraction of an advantage over their rivals.

Lap times were quick as a result and despite the track ageing through the session, times actually got quicker.

So far based on last nights showing, Jason Kendrick is certainly going to┬ábe towards the pointy end come 10 o’clock Saturday night – he’s in form, determined to take the gold, has a great car, killer engine and dialled in on a set-up last night that is going to make him hard to beat.

Having said that, there is no absolute guarantee the track and weather conditions will be the same this Saturday night, although the forecast is indicating similar conditions.

It’s going to a great event and something to really look forward to.

The Motorplex always turns on great racing and the KOW event is always one of the best !

CAN’T WAIT !!!!!!!!!

Here’s what Peter Roebuck caught through the eye of his lens:
