Consistent rainfall all week in Sydney has put an end to any hope of running the Saturday March 18th Sprintcar Meeting at Valvoline Raceway.

Showers have been falling at the premier race venue and it is completely sodden.

A large front around lunchtime today (Thursday 16th) gave the track a real pelting

Today (Thursday 16th) has seen very large ongoing falls of rain throughout metro Sydney along with thunder and lightning. A massive storm front passed through just after lunch bringing flash flooding to many areas.

The 7 day forecast is no help – All rain bar a brief hiatus tomorrow (Fri).

The next Sprintcar meeting is set down for April 1st (Fingers crossed !!!!!!!!!!)

The outlook is not flash with heavy showers today and extending through the weekend and even all next week
