BRAD Maiolo’s dominance in the 2015-16 AHG Sprintcar Series continued when he took another feature race win at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night.

Maiolo won the 30-lap feature race from the fast-finishing Ryan Farrell and big brother Jamie.

It was a great drive from the younger of the two Maiolos who started round 10 of the series from outside of the third row.

Farrell also put in a gutsy effort after starting from P11 and getting his best result of the season in the #90 entry.

Jamie Maiolo finished third – the same spot as he started.

David Priolo and Jason Kendrick started on the front row and it was Priolo that won the start with Kendrick hitting the back of his rival, damaging his front wing and dropping back a few spots early on.

Jamie Maiolo led briefly before Brad got to the front and set the pace.

Troy Lawson went over on the main straight on lap five after contact with Ryan Lancaster, putting them both out of the show.

Kendrick was starting to look better in the #11 machine but then went off the pace before the rear axle broke and he spun around in pits bend on lap 7.

Lee Nash, who started from P4, looked threatening and challenged Maiolo for the lead soon afterwards but then lost ground with a couple of brushes with the wall before he eventually spun to the infield on lap 22.

Brad Maiolo was lucky to keep going after he ran into the rear of backmarker Ben Butcher with officials sending the latter to the rear on the restart as the primary cause.

Farrell got better as the race wore on and the margin between him and Maiolo at the end of the contest was only just over three seconds.

Polesitter Priolo finished fourth ahead of Callum Williamson (from P7), Mitchell Wormall (P13), Daryl Clayden (P9), Andrew Priolo (P10), Jacob Lucas (P16), Ben Butcher (P14)and Darren Mewett (P17).
