There is no doubting the class of American Brad Sweet as he took his second victory in as many nights at Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway.

On Saturday 27th December Sweet took a stunning victory in the Sprintcar Summer Cup in front of one of the best sized crowds seen in recent times.

Following Sweet home in somewhat of a rampaging drive was Ian Madsen followed by Albury’s Grant Anderson. Madsen had come from the mid field in the B-Main and in the end was the quickest car on the clayway, but laps simply ran out for him.

Toby Bellbowen set quick time for the night and earned a place on the front row but experienced difficulties and crossed the line in 15th.
