While most of Australia is in the depths on a Winter Sprintcar Hibernation, our good friends in Darwin , Northern Territory are getting into full swing.
Northline Speedway is gearing up for the two NT 360 Top End Challenge double headers to be held on 23, 24, 30 and 31st August.
Further information on this fantastic event, including nomination information for any interested Drivers and an explanation of the point score format can be found at the Northline Website:

Gates will open at 11am each day. The majority of local nominations have been received and interstate entries are starting to roll in with just 3 weeks to go.
We understand that WA’s AHG Series Star Cameron Gessner will compete for Steve Duggan in the Cowara Motorsport entry. The Cowara Team is busy preparing a brand new Maxim chassis for combat.
Along with Gessner we are also led to believe that regular “Top End Tourister” Jamie Maiolo will also make the haul North. A couple of surprise interstaters are also slated to attend. Torque Tube would love to tell you who, but we have been sworn to secrecy !
It is going to be a ripper carnival (as usual) at one of the best tracks in the country. The locals are brilliantly rehearsed at getting around Northline quickly and will be hard to beat.
Big local chances to take out the Challenge include Troy King, Jamie McInnes, David Ling, Peter and Jason McIver and of course the ubiquitous Dale Griffin.
