This Saturday Night Feb 23rd Autobarn at Narre Warren is hosting a Gala Hot Rod Show. On display will be some of the best Hot Rods, Customs and Classics around Melbourne in what promises to be one of the best Show & Shine deals of the year.
Store Manager Gavin Sheedy has invested a lot of his own time outside of business hours to guarantee a rip-roaring show. Action kicks off at 7pm at the Autobarn shop on the corner of Narre Warren North and Lauderdale Roads – Narre Warren.
Gavin said “It’s going to be a huge night with Prizes, Giveaways and in-store Promotions. We are even going to have food available for patrons of the event”
What a cool idea hey….a twilight Hot Rod show to beat the heat. That’s thinking for you !
Helping promote the event is none other than Former Australian Formula 500 Champ and now Victorian Sprintcar Ace Liam Williams who took his own Sprintcar “Hot Rod” down to the Narre Warren Autobarn store the other day and plonked it right in the doorway.
The Bruce Stephens-owned V91 Sprintcar is one of the best Sprintcars in the Nation, not only for show and shine, but for performance as well. Liam races the 750+ Horsepower beast in the local Victorian Sprintcar 360 All Stars Sprintcar Series. Sometimes Bruce, Liam and the Team even bolt in their open 410 engine pumping out more than 850 horses to go for “A Skid”
Bruce Stephens spares no expense when he sets up a car, using all the latest gear available, and it shows on the track with the car pulling multiple Quick Times in qualifying around Victorian Speedway tracks this season.
Go check this “Hot Rod” out at the show amongst all the other little beauties. If you have never been up close to a Sprintcar before, prepare to be stunned !
