Earlier in the evening, Brad Maiolo set quick time with 14.290 seconds – Brad’s 2nd Quick Time of the season.

Carl Dowling won both his heats and Ian Madsen and Jamie Maiolo won the other 2 heats.

The Top 8 Shootout provided some really great action with 6 of the 8 speedsters being under the existing Jeff Leisk Track Record of 12.780 sec from way back in 2002 (372 CI days). In the end Shaun Bradford was quickest with a scintillating 12.615 sec to reset the history books.

The 30 lap A-Main saw Shaun Bradford bolt to the front and look invincible, but with 9 laps remaining he tragically blew a right rear. This then allowed Jason Kendrick to take over the lead and coast through for his 4th A-Main victory this season.
